About the Firm

Counsel built around how cross-border business actually works

Juris Consultants was founded to close the gap between customs practice, tax law, and commercial litigation — disciplines that are usually handled by separate advisors, at separate times, often too late to prevent the problem they're trying to fix.

Our Story

One team, across the disciplines that intersect in practice

Most legal problems that businesses in trade and manufacturing face don't arrive labeled by practice area. A customs valuation dispute has tax consequences. A shipping delay becomes a contract dispute. A corporate restructuring raises admiralty and regulatory questions all at once.

Juris Consultants was built to advise across that whole picture, rather than handing a client off between disconnected specialists. Our advisors work together on matters that cross disciplines, so the strategy is coherent from the outset — not stitched together after the fact.

We work with importers and exporters, manufacturers, shipping and logistics companies, and corporate and individual clients across Pakistan, on matters ranging from routine compliance to contested litigation.

We advise on the transaction first — so the dispute is less likely to happen at all.

That means reviewing the customs declaration before it's filed, the contract before it's signed, and the structure before it's implemented — not only stepping in once something has already gone wrong.

What Guides Us

Principles behind how we practice

Substance over volume

We take on matters we can advise properly, rather than measuring the practice by caseload.

Direct access to counsel

Clients deal directly with the advisor handling their matter, not a rotating point of contact.

Plain, direct advice

We aim to tell clients clearly what a matter requires and what it doesn't — not what's easiest for us to bill.
